Prestige NY Highlights Promotions and Donations to BCRF

The management of Prestige NY recently reported several pieces of exciting news. First, associate Maheen S. was promoted to branch manager. Second, the firm's president participated in the presentation of a $5 million donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

“It’s been a great few months here at Prestige NY,” said Jessica I, the firm’s president. “We’re quite pleased with both our expansion and our ability to raise funds for BCRF. I can’t imagine a better way to cap off this summer and head into the remainder of the year full steam ahead.”

Jessica especially extolled the virtues of Maheen, a Prestige NY associate who has been tapped to become a branch manager. “She’s certainly earned this opportunity based on her hard work and dedication to our firm,” she said. “It is a pleasure to watch her grow into this new leadership role as branch manager.”

"The field is meant to be challenging,"

Maheen received a degree in psychology from St. John’s University. After college, she was unsure what path to follow. “I was told in my senior seminar that psychology was a broad field, thus having a background in this discipline opened the door to a number of possibilities,” Maheen shared. “I decided to give marketing a try. I went on a few interviews but after my first day of orientation here in Deer Park, I decided to look no further for my career.”

After working in some of the firm’s other divisions, Maheen found her niche with the FW1 team, where she was promoted to assistant manager. Maheen believes the firm’s diverse training program properly equipped her to handle any campaign.

Maheen’s advice to her up-and-coming colleagues is to be solution-centric. “The field is meant to be challenging,” she stressed. “Don’t be the person who makes excuses. Nobody likes that person. Instead, be the person who tries to solve the puzzle. You’ll get through the training program faster and be better at the game of business.”

Prestige NYs Managers Announce Donation to Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF)

In addition to announcing Maheen’s promotion, Jessica shared that as Prestige NY’s president, she was recently honored to help present $5 million to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). The funds were raised through sales of FW1 products generated, in part, by the work her firm did on behalf of the brand.

“This was a concerted effort involving our Prestige NY team and many others across the nation,” stated Jessica. “Not only were our team members motivated to help FW1 meet their sales and marketing objectives, but we also were inspired to help support this worthy cause.”

The BCRF is a nonprofit organization devoted to supporting research to both prevent and cure breast cancer in women and men. In addition, through its Pink Promotion, the group also raises awareness of breast cancer and treatment options. These efforts have had a tremendous impact on positive outcomes for patients diagnosed with this type of cancer.

“Between this wonderful opportunity to give back to our community and our continued celebration of Maheen’s promotion, we’ve truly had a great summer,” concluded Jessica. “I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings.”
